Highlighting Airmen for their
Innovation, Communication and Excellence!
Staff Sgt. Jessica Tucker, 375th Comptroller Squadron
Special Actions NCOIC, is this week’s 375th Air Mobility Wing’s “Showcase on ICE.” Tucker manages civilian pay, separations and retirements, debts and remission cases, accessions, and re-enlistments. Her management and leadership skills were instrumental while managing the civilian pay program, where she oversaw 1,200 certifiers, confirmed processing of 182,000 timecards and disbursed $608 million in payments. Tucker authored the first-ever civilian pay training class on the base, where she taught program policies and procedures to 400 timekeepers. She revamped the voucher balancing process by ensuring a daily versus weekly review and audit of all reports. Her innovative program management enabled the AMC metric to be met. Additionally, Tucker revitalized the Accessions program. Her added oversight and communication with newly assigned officers guaranteed each accession received on-time bi-weekly payments to prevent personal financial hardship. She continues to strive for excellence in leading all her programs to provide “world-class” customer service.
