ASIST is a 2-day, 16 hour in-depth workshop where participants learn to identify when someone is having thoughts of suicide, talk openly about suicide and create a safety plan to assure individuals are "safe for now" from thoughts of suicide as well as suicide behavior. This training is targeted at frontline supervisors, first sergeants and first responders.
safeTALK is a 4-hour course, where participants learn how to reach out to someone thinking about suicide, overcome attitudes that act as barriers to help, talk openly about suicide, and connect with further support. safeTALK provides a more in-depth training for anyone interested in a deeper understanding of suicide prevention and intervention.
Understanding your own emotions, the emotions of others, and using this awareness to come to a positive outcome is extremely important when leading and supervising a team. This will provide an in-depth look at the tenets of EQ and provide the opportunity for participants to gain a deeper understanding of their own EQ as well as the important role it plays in their success as a leader.

EQ for teams is a 4-hour course focused on team dynamics and functioning. This course will allow your team to discover the role that emotions play in the team’s performance, understand how the areas of EQ can elevate the team’s performance, reputation and influence. Establish and/or refresh team norms as a group and Make agreements together regarding how to operate as a team by working on a Team EQ Action Plan.
The Supervisor Rating Course is a 1.5 hr course designed to teach supervisors EQ skills. This course will focus on how to define EQ through the four subskills: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management while emphasizing what it looks like when done effectively and why it matters in the armed forces. Be able to rate Airmen on the Emotional Intelligence Airman Leadership Quality and provide constructive feedback about emotional intelligence behaviors. Be able to leverage skills and concepts of emotional intelligence to appropriately evaluate Airmen on the four Major Performance Areas on the Airman Comprehensive Assessment Addendum (e.g., Executing the Mission, Leading People, etc.)
MI for leaders takes a mental health therapy technique that is utilized for change behavior and adapts it into something leaders can use to motivate their Airmen to be adaptable to change and perform to their optimal potential. Dubbed by the IRO as “tactical manipulation”, MI will assist you in positively influencing your Airmen.
