Provides world-wide emergency assistance to Airmen and their eligible family members to meet immediate needs in an emergency. AFAS provides interest-free loans and grants based on the individual emergency financial situation such as: emergency travel, child care, vehicle repair/payment, basis living expenses (rent/mortgage, utilities, food, etc), and more. Falcon loans up to $1500; Standard Assistance loans are for requests over $1500. Members requesting assistance with emergency travel may contact the American Red Cross 24/7 at 1-877-272-7337.
