100th Anniversary of Air Refueling Operation Centennial
A KC-135 Stratotanker from the 126th Air Refueling Wing, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois flies over the St. Louis Arch in Missouri during a commemorative flight marking the 100-year anniversary of air refueling, June 27, 2023. The first KC-135 aircraft flew in August 1956 and the initial production of Stratotankers were delivered to Castle Air Base, California in June 1957.
