AMC commander, command chief visit JB Charleston
                Gen. Maryanne Miller, left, commander of Air Mobility Command, coins a Sailor during a visit to Joint Base Charleston Naval Weapons Station, South Carolina, July 30, 2019. Miller visited JB Charleston July 29 to August 1 to get a first-hand look at mission capabilities, new innovative programs and how JB Charleston is taking care of its service members to build a stronger mobility force. Joint Base Charleston is one of 12 Department of Defense Joint Bases and host to over 60 DOD and Federal agencies. Naval Munitions Command provides quality and responsible ordnance material handling, and technical and material support to the Fleet and other customers in the areas of retail ammunition management. The command also maintains and operate explosive ordnance outboarding and transshipment facilities.
