Showcase Airman - Capt. Timothy Vojak

Capt. Timothy Vojak, 375th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron flight nurse examiner, is a 375th Air Mobility Wing Showcase Airman. Vojak has demonstrated the Wing’s vision of deliberate risk management by playing an active role as the 375th AES Squadron Wing Inspection Team chief. He attended the recent Tri-Service Nursing Research Project Evidence Based Practice Workshop in preparation for a global impact in Aeromedical Evacuation patient care. Additionally, he delivered a proposed U.S. Air Force Pilot Retention Team Research Innovation Project at Squadron Officer School that garnered praise from staff and became a finalist for the BG Hinman Critical Analysis Award. He has demonstrated work-life balance by leading nine evaluators that manage 28 Standard Evaluation programs and over $72K worth of equipment while simultaneously parenting four children and coaching 22 players between two O’Fallon premier select-baseball teams. For his accomplishments this year, he has been awarded Group Officer Professional of the Quarter, was peer-selected for SOS Outstanding Contributor, awarded SOS Top Flight Graduate, and Distinguished Graduate.
