Scott performs hot pit refueling
Members of the 375th Operations Support Squadron perform a hot pit refueling on a U.S. Navy E-2D Hawkeye, Jan. 24, 2018, at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. In a hot pit refueling, the aircraft does not completely shut down, which enables the aircraft to be refueled and take-off quicker, cutting hours off of a coast-to-coast flight.
