Hurricane Relief
Members of the Contingency Response Team from Travis Air Force Base, Calif. and 375th Logistics Readiness Squadron “Port Dawgs” wait on the flight line while cargo is off-loaded from a C-5 Galaxy aircraft at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., Sept. 9, 2017. The C-5 transported two CRT’s from Travis to pre-position and stand by for hurricane relief support. A primary CRT mission is to establish airfield command and control. The teams consist of aerial porters, maintenance personnel and other specialties required to receive and launch aircraft once an airfield is activated for operations.
