Hurricane Relief
Members of a Contingency Response Team, from Travis Air Force Base, Calif., walk to a waiting area on the flight line after deplaning a C-5 Galaxy aircraft at Scott AFB, Ill. Sept. 9, 2017. Two CRT’s from Travis travelled to Scott to pre-position and stand by for hurricane relief support. A primary CRT mission is to establish airfield command and control. The teams consist of aerial porters, maintenance personnel and other specialties required to receive and launch aircraft once an airfield is activated for operations.
