375th SFS firing range now open
The Scott Air Force Base shooting range has been re-opened after significant upgrades were made to the equipment and stalls Aug.22 at Scott AFB, Ill. The range was closed to have repairs and the decision was made to enclose the range, which will extend the life of the facility, cut training time, and save thousands of man hours over the next several years. The enclosure of the range also allowed for the instalation off electronic upgrades that not only provide for new training opportunities, but also provide for a safer and more comfortable training environment.
