C-17 loadmasters receive honors at A/TA’s Hall of Fame Walkway
Gen. Carlton D. Everhart II, Commander, Air Mobility Command, speaks to a crowd during a ceremony in the Mobility Memorial Park at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, Sept. 8, 2016. The ceremony took place to honor six C-17A “Pathfinder Loadmasters,” eternalized on a large bronze medallion as part of the Mobility Memorial Park. The honorees were a vital part of ensuring that the one-loadmaster aircrew concept became a reality on the C-17A. This loadmaster group led the way to design improvements and advancement to America’s airlift capability and set a benchmark for air mobility aircraft for years to come.
