Scott’s first transition summit a success
The audience listens to a six-person panel discussion during a two-day transition summit and hiring and education fair for transitioning members, veterans, and spouses, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., July 12, 2016. The first day of the transition summit offered industry briefs from Microsoft, the 375th Communications Group, Alcoa, Fastport, and SSM Health to transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses, followed by a panel discussion with senior leaders of potential employers that answered questions of audience members on the transitioning process.
