375th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron trains Department of Veteran Affairs personnel

Staff Sgt. Dasha Ermanova, right, 375th AES aeromedical evacuation technician, signals to the litter carriers that they can now bring the "patient" onto the vehicle during training June 7, 2016 at the MidAmerica St. Louis Airport in Mascoutah, Illinois. 375th AES servicemembers worked with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs personnel, teaching them how to transfer a patient on and off an aircraft safely. Since the DVA works with military entities during natural disasters and other emergency situations, the training will familiarize the civilians on how the equipment the military uses.
