ICE
Staff Sgt. Stacey Jones, 906th Air Refueling Squadron unit training manager, is this week’s 375th Air Mobility Wing “Showcase on ICE.” Jones arrived to the base in July 2015 as the 906th ARS’s first fully qualified and experienced training manager since the squadron’s 2010 reactivation. Jones immediately identified and corrected training deficiencies across the 32 Air Force specialty codes under the scope of her responsibility. Jones systematically orchestrated four crew chief Advanced System courses, which is now standard for the base’s Total Force Airmen, as well as active duty maintenance Airmen. Her innovation enabled 24 active duty and Air National Guard maintainers to attend this critical developmental opportunity locally, saving an estimated $60,000 and enhancing the 906th ARS Total Force Airmen’s job knowledge and skill sets, leading to heightened job proficiency and Total Force Integration teamwork.
