ICE
Senior Airman Kiana Brothers, 375th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs Office photojournalist, is this week’s 375th Air Mobility Wing’s “Showcase on ICE.” Brothers is highly skilled and is personally requested to document many high-visibility events for the wing and its mission partners. She also serves as a social media editor and prepares the weekly news bulletin for base-wide distribution. As a well-rounded Airman, she is active in the dorm council and is the Professional Development Chairperson for the Scott First Four Council. She was key to organizing the recent FALCON leadership initiative, which provided mentorship to more than 200 of her peers. From dorm Olympics to making improvements in the facility, she is an Airman leading Airmen. Along with her base contributions, she has also volunteered more than 80 hours supporting the Belleville Humane Society and the Salvation Army. Finally, she was recently recognized for her prompt and professional actions in responding to a serious motor vehicle accident. After assessing the situation, she stopped traffic, cordoned the area and started checking on the individuals involved in the accident, until a civilian nurse soon arrived on scene to help with triage.
