ICE
Jamie Mattice, 375th Air Mobility Wing Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Specialist, is this week’s 375th Air Mobility Wing “Showcase on ICE.” Mattice’s breadth of experience encompasses advocating for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in the SAPR non-profit community. In just seven short months here, she developed a 16-hour curriculum and a database for tracking the training of Scott AFB’s 38 Victim Advocates. This innovative benchmark initiative, which includes training on effective communication, understanding the boundaries in advocacy, and role playing, has now been incorporated into advocate annual training. She also communicates the Air Force’s sexual assault prevention initiatives throughout the community and is a member of the region’s Sexual Assault and Alcohol Abuse Task Force.
