Airman 1st Class Trisha Lamarre, 375th Logistics Readiness Squadron Fuels Distribution Technician, removes a pad from a container to test it for particulates in the tested fuel samples at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., Oct. 15, 2014. The pad will then be placed into a drying container to ensure any particulates in the sample are accurately tested. This sample was a new delivery of Jet-A fuel. The Air Force has made a transition from JP-8 fuel to Jet-A fuel, costing 2 cents less per gallon. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Erica Crossen)
