KC-135
A Crash, Damage, and Disabled Aircraft Recovery exercise team member adjusts airbags in the process of inflation under the wing of a KC-135 during a Crash Recovery exercise, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., Oct. 28, 2014. The airbags must be evenly inflated to ensure each side of the aircraft is supported equally. Members from 375th Air Mobility Wing, 932nd Maintenance Squadron, the 126th MXS, 906th Air Refueling Squadron, and Wisconsin, Tennessee, Utah, and Nebraska Air National Guard came together to ensure every CDDAR technician is on the same page and search for new ways of executing recovery operations.
