Scott aeromedical crews keep mission flowing
SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Members of the 375th Aeromedical Staging Facility load patients onto a C-130 Hercules at Scott May 18. Many of the patients are on the last leg of their journey home after being wounded while deployed to either Iraq or Afghanistan. While Andrews Air Force Base, Md., is typically the first stateside stop for returning patients, the Scott ASF saw an influx of patients this past weekend during the closure of the Andrews ASF for the base's airshow.
