Air Force Network Integration Center keeps communications running
SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Master Sgt. Erik Weaver, Air Force Network Integration Center, connects fiber cabling to provide communication within an Airborne Laboratory Environment known as Scope ABLE at Scott AFB, Oct. 26. Scope ABLE is a DC-9 fuselage with communications equipment representative of VIP and transport aircraft. It has multiple government entry points that facilitate testing of new technology prior to flight as well as troubleshooting communications systems from the operational fleet.
