SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. – Airmen practice their Self Aid Buddy Care as their Wingman lays on the floor with an impaled object coming out of his chest January 25, 2010 during he Operational Readiness Exercise held at Volk Field Combat Readiness and Training Center, Wis. With the practice of SABC Airmen are able to secure impaled objects, treat head wounds and perform procedures like managing a cut until proper medical attention can be provided by trained medics.
