Air Force DEPpers Launch New Career
SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill -- The U.S. Air Force monster truck, Afterburner, driven by Damon Bradshaw, takes to the air to complete a jump over three cars and a school bus as part of the free style event at Monster Jam held Feb. 6, 2010 at the Edwards Jones Dome in St. Louis, Mo. The Monster Jam crowd also witnessed the swearing in of 38 individuals to the USAF Delayed Entry Program prior to the start of the event. All potential servicemembers enter the DEP for up to a year as inactive Reserves as they wait for a basic military training date so that it coincides with technical school availability, high school graduation, or to have more time to research the military.
