Mascoutah, 375 AMW sign memorandum to ease school transition for military children
Army Maj. Gen. William Johnson, U.S. Transportation Command Chief of Staff, presents a book to Dr. Sam McGowen, Mascoutah Community Unit School District #19 superintendent July 22, 2010 after Dr. McGowen and Col. Michael Hornitschek, 375th Air Mobility Wing Commander, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Mascoutah district and Scott Air Force Base to ease the transition between schools for military children. The MOU will help ensure a smooth transition for highly mobile military-affiliated students who move between school districts.
