SERE Training
Trainees study their maps and GPS devices during the land navigation portion of their survival, evasion, resistance, escape (SERE) training Dec. 13 at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. Aircrew members, and persons who have been deemed at risk of isolation are required to attend refresher SERE training every three years to make sure they are proficient with the techniques and skills that will keep them alive.
