Local Community shows tribute with Salute to Scott

Children go for a ride on horses during the Salute to Scott appreciation day June 9, 2012 at the O’Fallon Community Park, Ill. The Salute to Scott is an annual event held by the community of O’Fallon to pay tribute to Scott Air Force base personnel and their families. The event showcased many different vendors as well as food and games and prizes. The day concluded with the making of the world’s largest micro banana split that everyone was able to enjoy.
