22 ANNUAL SALUTE TO SCOTT PICNIC
The O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce, along with the city of O’Fallon and village of Shiloh, hosted the 22nd Annual Salute to Scott Picnic and Business Expo June 11 at the O’Fallon Community Park. The picnic featured a variety of children’s activities including animals from the Rainbow Ranch Petting Zoo, bounce houses, inflatable toss games, face painting, antique fire truck rides, business mascots, and free swimming at the community pool. In what has become a tradition, Col. Laura Lenderman, 375th Air Mobility Wing commander, and wing leadership were also on hand to assist with serving at the annual banana ice cream sundae station. In addition, the picnic included musical entertainment by Skyline Church and the Illinois Army National Guard’s 144th Army Band, as well as a dog demonstration by the St. Clair County Sherriff’s K-9 unit, a static display of an Arch medical helicopter, and a martial arts performance. Organized by the O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee, the annual event provides an opportunity for the O’Fallon-Shiloh community to show its appreciation to Team Scott and their families.
