Scott Elementary students design Earth Week posters

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- The 375th Civil Engineer Squadron hosted a poster contest at Scott Elementary to create Earth Week posters. The winning poster will be placed around base. Earth Week will be celebrated at Scott and throughout the nation during the week of April 20. Earth week is designed to remind people that we need to protect the earth from the harmful effects that humans produce. Some of the events Scott will sponsor include the 137th Arbor Day anniversary April 22 and a base-wide clean up April 24.
