SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- The Youth Center and 4-H hosted "Skill-a-thon" Saturday at Scott. The event featured educational and recreational booths in the gym at the Youth Center, and a small farm animal petting zoo outdoors.

The educational booths in the gym had information and activities related to veterinary science, electricity, woodworking, robotics, food and nutrition, sewing and textiles, intercultural studies, and art.

Participants learned about each topic by doing an activity at each booth.

4-H is a worldwide youth organization which focuses on science, engineering, technology, healthy living, and citizenship.
