SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- As our day-to-day lives become consumed with juggling work, family, school, and community commitments, we may feel mentally, physically, spiritually, and even socially exhausted.  It's, therefore, critically important for us to collectively commit ourselves to our Wingman Day activities in order to reflect, reenergize, and realign ourselves to ensure we remain mission-focused and dedicated to reaching our full potential as individuals and as a combat-ready wing.

This Friday, 23 October, the 375th Air Mobility Wing will be participating in Wingman Day activities devoted to discussing Air Force Core Values, Financial Resilience, and maintaining a culture of Dignity and Respect.  The latter half of the day will be devoted to team-building activities. Our Wingman Day activities are thoughtfully designed to enable us to grow together and discuss topics that are critical to our individual well-being as well as to our successful mission accomplishment.  These activities allow us to connect with each other, to enhance our communication skills, and to build stronger teams.

Ultimately, Wingman Day supports our commitment to lift up our work and each other in ways that enable us to continue to provide "Help from Above".  That help is needed today more than ever as our Nation remains engaged in combat operations overseas and faces fiscal pressures at home.  As such, I encourage everyone to support our Wingman Day with a positive attitude and willingness to share individual experiences and ideas.

At the conclusion of Wingman Day, you and your families are invited to join us for Team Scott's Harvest Festival and Chili Cook-off at the Parade Field beginning at 1530.  This event is open to all units across the installation and provides a wonderful opportunity to relax and enjoy a beautiful day at Scott AFB!
