Training exercise at Scott Lake Published Sept. 3, 2014 375th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- The Joint Enabling Capabilities Command, or JECC, a subordinate joint command of U.S. Transportation Command, headquartered at Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia, will be conducting a quarterly Mission Readiness Exercise, or MRX, at the Scott Lake Family Campsite Sept. 8-12. Members of USTRANSCOM, Air Mobility Command and the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command are invited to visit the MRX location on Sept. 11 to learn more about the unique capabilities of the JECC and its subordinate joint commands: the Joint Communications Support Element, the Joint Planning Support Element and the Joint Public Affairs Support Element. The following times are the recommended windows for visitors to the JECC MRX on Sept. 11. Please first stop by the entry control point for escort to the appropriate MRX area: · 9-11 a.m. - open to flag officers/general officers; · 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - open to AMC/SDDC J-Code Directorates with valid CAC identification; and · 1-4 p.m. - Open to USTRANSCOM J-Code Directorates with valid USTRANSCOM badge.
