The festivities begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Parade Field, and it is open to the entire Scott community. On the same day, the 375th Air Mobility Wing will hold its Wingman Day with various activities planned throughout the day in all of the Comprehensive Airman Fitness domains: Mental, Physical, Social, and Spiritual. Master Sgt. Esmeralda Aharon, a Wingman Day Celebration coordinator, said, "Our service men and women work really hard year-round. This event will give them a chance to pause and have some respite in the company of their co-workers, family, and friends. The harvest season is the season of celebration and what better way to celebrate the new fiscal year than with music, food, and fellowship." Scott personnel are encouraged to wear their morale shirts to show unit pride and jeans. The day of events will include games, food and fun, including a pumpkin trebuchet toss, which starts at 4:30 p.m., and a 'Glow Up the Night' Run at 6:15 p.m., which starts and finishes at the Fitness Center. The pumpkin trebuchet and chili cook-off are two opportunities for Wingman Day Unit Team building that are built into the Harvest Festival activities. Participating in the chili cook-off will start with registering with the Chapel at 256-4060 by Oct. 14. The participants will need to attend a food preparation briefing at 9 a.m. the morning of the cook-off.
