"This year we have volunteers who will assist Airmen file online via a self-service kiosk," said 1st Lt. Natalia Escobar, 375th Judge Advocate assistant tax service coordinator.

"Airmen come in and sign into their Military OneSource (www.militaryonesource.mil/) account and begin their tax filing process through the free service provided by H&R Block."

Capt. Marta Kolcz-Ryan, 375th JA, explained this is a departure from hard-copy returns of the past.

"Now it's the member themselves who actually file them," she said. "It's a faster and friendlier option, and we are still serving the population who we have found really needs the most help."

Military members of any rank can submit returns through Military One Source, and those with questions should call (800) 342-9647. All appointments for legal office tax services can be made by emailing 375amw.ja@us.af.mil.
