Peds Clinic schedules events for Military Child Appreciation Month Published April 6, 2016 375th Medical Group SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- April is Military Child Appreciation Month and the Peds Clinic would like to invite people to the following activities: · April 8--The movie "Valiant" will be shown at 7 p.m. at the Base Theater. The movie is Rated G and is about a WW II carrier pigeon who along with his buddies help to save the war. Bring your own snacks. · April 19--We are hosting the "Bear Care Medical Center" from 9:45-10:30 a.m. at the CDC. We will hand out stuffed animals to each child in the pre-school departments to allow them to work on their animals to help decrease their anxiety when coming to the clinic. · April 20--Ice Cream Social and Story Time from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Deltgen Auditorium. Various booths to include 5210, Dental, Family Advocacy just to name a few and of course ice cream!! · April 22--The movie "Little Boy" will be shown at 7 p.m. This movie is Rated PG-13. This movie is about a little boy whose father goes off to WWI. · April 26--We are again hosting "Bear Care Medical Center" from 9:45-10:30 a.m. at the CDC. · April 28--A magic show will be held from 3:30-4 p.m. at the Youth Center. Our very own Lt. Col Fisher has some tricks up his sleeve.
