Scheduled power outage - April 9

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. --  Scott AFB requires a scheduled power outage to repair critical high voltage electrical components on Saturday, April 9 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.  All facility managers have been notified as it will affect most facilities west of Scott Drive, excluding the Shiloh East/West housing area. 

Due to the scheduled base power outage the following facilities will have modified hours of operation:
James Sports Center - Closed (Fitness Center, 24 Hour Access Available)
Bowling Center - Open at 3:30 p.m.  
Library - Closed
Arts & Crafts Center - Closed
Car Wash - Closed
Student Union Café - Closed
Scott Event Center - Closed
Dining Facility - Open with a modified menu Commissary - Closed Exchange/Express -- Closed

Businesses East of the flight line are not affected, therefore the Golf Course, Golf Course Cafe and Outdoor Recreation will be open for business as normal.  People with questions should work with their facility manager or they may call CE customer service at 256-2202.
