SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. – Airmen gather for a developmental and special duty job fair at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, to help educate service members on the different careers that the Air Force offers outside of traditional careers within the service.

The job fair’s mission is to bring information to military personnel on developmental and special duties with individuals who have gone through the applying process as well as the day-to-day within that field.

“For the Air Force, the payoff is huge,” said Master Sgt. Kara Hocker, development advisor for the 375th Force Support Squadron/Force Development Flight. “We get a stronger, more motivated pool of candidates for these roles, and in turn, they guide the next generation of Airmen to build a more capable and resilient force.”

For further information and assistance to transfer to a special duty job, contact the Development Advisor at 618-256-5296
