Team Scott hosts A1, AFPC Leadership Published Aug. 27, 2024 375th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- The 375th Air Mobility Wing hosted Manpower, Personnel and Services along with Air Force Personnel Center leadership for a tour of Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, Aug. 26, 2024. Lt. Gen. Caroline Miller, Headquarters Air Force deputy chief of staff for manpower, personnel and services; Chief Master Sgt. Thomas Temple, HAF Manpower, Personnel and Services senior enlisted leader; Maj. Gen. Jefferson O’Donnell, Air Force Personnel Center commander; and Chief Master Sgt. Edwin Ludwigsen, AFPC senior enlisted leader, began their day attending the 2024 Force Support Squadron Leadership Summit. Here, both Miller and O’Donnell discussed the vital role of force support within the Great Power Competition. The team then toured some of Scott AFB’s 375th Force Support Squadron locations including honor guard, Military and Family Readiness Center, Education and Training Center, Military Personnel Flight, and the Youth Center, all while discussing the innovations and successes of the 375th FSS. Miller, O’Donnell, Temple and Ludwigsen were also panelists in a town hall where they addressed Team Scott’s questions and encouraged feedback from the installation level. “There is going to be a lot of change over the next few years,” said Miller. “Your feedback on these changes is critical. Many times, we believe something is working, but we don’t have the user perspective, so feedback from all of you is very helpful. We’re here to support you.”
