SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. --

SEAC Ramón Colón-López, Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, visited Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, Nov. 1, 2021, for a two-day tour. During his visit, Colón-López met with senior leaders from the 375th Air Mobility Wing and U.S. Transportation Command and recognized individuals for their efforts during Operation Allies Refuge, an airlift mission that evacuated approximately 120,000 American citizens and Afghan evacuees during Operation Allies Refuge from the Hamid Karzai International Airport, Afghanistan.
