Public Notice: Environmental Assessment for the 932d Airlift Wing Campus Plan Published May 7, 2021 By 375th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs Office SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. — The U.S. Air Force (USAF) has prepared an environmental assessment (EA) for the Scott Air Force Base 932d Airlift Wing Campus Plan to analyze the impacts that could result from the implementation of the Proposed Action for the projects identified in the Campus Plan and the 2019 Facilities Operations Capability and Utilization Survey (FOCUS) at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in St. Clair County, Illinois. Printed copies of the EA and draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) are available for public review and comment for 30 days at the following locations: Belleville Public Library, 121 East Washington Street, Belleville, Ill. Scott AFB Library, 510 Ward Drive Scott AFB, Ill. The USAF is aware of the effects of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic on the usual methods of accessing information and communicating, such as the closure of local public libraries and the increased consumer demand on mobile and broadband Internet networks. The USAF seeks to implement appropriate measures to ensure that the public and all interested stakeholders have the opportunity to participate fully in this EA process.
