375th CES win third straight Lineman Rodeo competition Published June 8, 2006 By Airman 1st Class Brian Butkus 375th Airlift Wing Public Affairs SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. 6/8/06 -- -- The 375th Civil Engineer Squadron Lineman team received top honors for their third straight Air Force Lineman Rodeo competition title May 21. The event was held at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, where the 375th CES competed against seven other teams from across the country. “We take these competitions very seriously,” said Tech. Sgt. Donald Topper, non-commissioned officer-in-charge of electrical systems. “We always show up ready to do our best. Winning isn’t our only goal. We learn a little something new every year whether it be a new tool, a new technique or just a better way to perform an every day job.” This year’s winning team consisted of James Chandarlis, Sergeant Topper and Staff Sgt.
