Tops in Blue bring the love to Scott

"What's love got to do with it?"
That's what the Air Force's premier show team, Tops in Blue, tried to answer during free show for all members of Joint Total Force Scott in Hangar 1 Friday.
With stage lights, scenery and first-class performers, the hangar was transformed into a concert hall.
"These 31 Airmen have worked hard for months to bring an outstanding show to military installations not only across the country, but around the world," said Col. Al Hunt, 375th Airlift Wing commander. "It is truly a pleasure to watch some of the Air Force's most talented perform."
The focus of Friday's show was love. The group members sang, danced, played instruments and even rapped about all facets of love. From country to hip hop and rhythm and blues, almost every genre of music was incorporated into the nearly two-hour show.
The show was also interactive and, for nearly every song, performers danced with and serenaded audience members.
A mixture of Airmen, NCOs and company grade officers from all career fields and backgrounds, the talented group is coming to the end of their year-long worldwide tour. Next month, a new group of talented Airmen will begin practicing for their time in the spotlight as Tops in Blue team members.
"What a great night of music," said Colonel Hunt. "I truly thank them for all they do to boost the moral of our servicemember and families not only at home but also in deployed locations."
Stay tuned, because Tops in Blue will return to the area in July with a new set of faces and songs to perform in St. Louis as part of the city's second Air Force Week.
