Match Up Family Fun Day Picnic

The Match Up Family Fun Day Picnic hosted by the 375th Services Squadron was held on Friday and ran from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

The picnic an annual event, which provided a kick off to the Match Up game offered free food, entertainment and a variety of activities to Joint Total Force Scott and their families it was also an alternate duty location for all 375th Airlift Wing. 

At the picnic were representatives from the 375th SVS facilities including Outdoor Recreation, Arts and Crafts Center, an airplane from the Aero Club, youth programs and the Cardinal Creek Golf Course. 

Other highlights included car display featuring cars of JTF Scott, free hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken, inflatable toys for the children and game booths and more.
In addition to promoting family fun the picnic encouraged JTF Scotts participation in Air Mobility Commands summer incentive, Match Up, which will earn the winning AMC base $25,000 in Moral Welfare and Readiness money. 

Scott is competing against 11 AMC bases and is currently in sixth place with Grand Forks AFB, N.D. in the lead. All members of JTF Scott and their family members regardless of age can register game pieces on line. The base that exceeds their pre-
Match Up game piece goal by the most is declared the winner. 

Along with prizes for the base, individuals who register their Match Up game pieces can win prizes to. The grand prize is a 2007 Saab 9-3 Aero with carnival cruises and cash prizes for second through fourth place and exclusive to Scott a $3,000 dream vacation. 

Individuals can get Match Up game pieces at various 375th SVS facilities and special events. The Match Up game will be running through Aug. 31.
