Football Frenzy participant wins trip to Pro Bowl Published Jan. 25, 2008 By Airman 1st Class Andrew Davis 375th Airlift Wing Public Affairs SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- The Scott Club announced the Air Force wide grand prize winner of the Sunday Football Frenzy contest Jan. 14. George Rafeedie, a retiree, was selected from a field of more than 10,000 Air Force club members to attend the National Football League's Pro Bowl in Honolulu Feb. 10. The eligibility requirements for the contest were simple: be a member of the Scott Club or become one and attend the Football Frenzy on Sundays to watch NFL games courtesy of the 375th Services Squadron. Mr. Rafeedie is one of three winners selected Air Force wide to attend the Pro Bowl. "He received a five-day trip for two complete with airfare, hotel, rental car and tickets to the Pro Bowl," said Kevin Kaysing, 375th SVS business operations flight chief. The Pro Bowl package Mr. Rafeedie received was one of the grand prizes in the sweepstakes. "It was awesome to have a grand prize winner at Scott, let alone see his reaction when we presented him with the prize," said Maj. Dawn Lancaster, 375th SVS commander. "Club membership really does pay." Football Frenzy is just one of the many programs offered to members of the Scott Club. "Recently, the club participated in the annual Air Force club membership drive," said Mr. Kaysing. "Members here won some great prizes including trips to Branson, Mo., with accommodations at the Hall of Fame Hotel, overnight stays in the Chase Park Plaza and a trip for two to Las Vegas. The club also had numerous opportunities for new and existing members to each win up to $100 instantly."
