Federal Executive Board presents annual awards Published May 14, 2008 By 375th Airlift Wing Public Affairs SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- The Greater St. Louis Federal Executive Board presented the "America at Its Best" Awards, Excellence in Government 2007, on May 8 at the Orlando Gardens in St. Louis. The awards recognize local federal government employees and area servicemembers for exceptional performance in the workplace and outstanding contributions to the local community. Awards are presented in ten categories, six of which are based upon occupation. The remaining four categories are leadership, supervision, community service and diversity initiative. Joint Total Force Scott received several awards for their work in 2007. The Greater St. Louis Federal Executive Board is one of the original ten executives boards established. Representing more than 80 federal agencies in the St. Louis metro area, the Greater St. Louis Federal Executive Board promotes public service, engages in local civic activities, raises money for charitable causes and participates in local disaster response training.
