New report keeps Scott personnel informed Published Aug. 28, 2008 By 375th Mission Support Group SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill -- The 375th Mission Support Group has started publishing a new bi-weekly report that lists events and announcements impacting the base. The current report is listed below. Future reports can be found on the wing EIM site and are published every other Friday. 375th Logistics Readiness Squadron The Logistics Readiness Squadron is no longer able to issue E-85 fuel manually due to deployment-related manning shortages. All E-85 customers should report to the Resource Control Center located in Building 744 to have their fuel keys re-coded to an alternate fuel. 375th Contracting Squadron The final deadline for submitting purchases requests under $25,000 was Aug. 15. Emergency requests can still be made but should be signed by the first O-6 or O-6 equivalent in the chain of command with appropriate justification. 375th Mission Support Squadron Two forms of identification, to include one photo I.D., are now required for obtaining all I.D. cards. This does not apply to underage dependents. A Hearts Apart event for deployed family members will be held Sept. 5 from 6-8:30 p.m. at Centerfield Park. Clay St. are scheduled for demolition from Sept. 8-Oct. 27. In the Commissary/Base Exchange parking lot, rows A-D are marked "Commissary Parking Only" and rows E-G are marked "BX Parking only." 375th Security Forces Squadron Base passes are required for all visitors. Pass requests can be made online and can be picked up at the Visitor Control Center Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 6 a.m. to noon. Passes are available at the Shiloh gate when the VCC is closed. The VCC also performs bio-metric handprint registration to utilize the Metro Link gate for base access. No appointment is necessary. 375th Services Squadron Free wireless internet has been added in the temporary lodging facilities
