Scott receives H1N1 vaccine Published Jan. 6, 2010 By 375th Medical Group 375th AMW SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill -- The 375th Medical Group received a limited supply of injectable H1N1 vaccine from the State of Illinois Public Health Office designated for high risk non-active duty beneficiaries. Scott AFB has also received the H1N1 vaccine for its active duty force. The 375th MDG will work with wing units to get those administered, and will also be set up at Rockwell Hall Jan. 13 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to administer the vaccine for active duty members stationed here. The clinic will be offering H1N1 vaccinations to high risk beneficiaries Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Medical Group basement. High risk beneficiaries encompass the following groups: - Pregnant women; - Persons aged 6 months to 24 years; - Persons aged 25-64 with underlying medical conditions, including: chronic pulmonary disease (including asthma), heart disease, kidney or liver disease, diabetes, immunosuppressed or transplant patients. There are no time interval requirements between the "high risk" vaccine and any other vaccine a patient may have received. Patients may also receive their shots at their primary care clinic locations: - Belleville Family Medicine Clinic, 9-11 a.m., Monday through Friday, and 1:30-3:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (except holidays) - Scott Family Health Clinic, 7-11:30 a.m., and 1-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (except holidays). - Pediatric Clinic, 8-11 a.m., and 1:30-3:30 Monday through Friday (except holidays).
