VA Welcome Home Celebration is Saturday in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS --  The St. Louis VA Medical Center's Third Annual Welcome Home Celebration is Saturday at Soldiers Memorial Park, 1315 Chestnut, St. Louis. The event begins at 10 a.m.

Veterans and their families are invited to join the VA for music, food, fun, informational booths and a great celebration of their dedication and service to our country. The St. Louis VA Medical Center is committed to helping make each service member's transition from active military status as seamless as possible. This year's program will be combined with the Marine Muster, so there may be as many as 800 participants plus their families.

A brief but formal program will include presentations of medallions to each Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom servicemember.
