Scott A&FRC to host Kid’s Career day Published May 26, 2010 By Airman & Family Readiness Center 375th Air Mobility Wing SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- All 375th Air Mobility Wing personnel and tenant agencies at Scott AFB are invited to bring their school-age children, ages 5 to 18, to work with them from 12 to 4 p.m., June 4 to participate in Kids Career Day. In keeping with the Year of the Air Force Family initiative, Kids Career Day is an opportunity for parents to introduce their school-age children to possible careers, public service, and observe first-hand what their parents do on the installation. A parent must participate with their child. Wing leadership will kick-off the event at the base theater at 12 p.m. Participants will be shuttled to three stations around base to participate in many fun and educational activities such as a air traffic control tower tour, fire safety demo, weather forecasting, working dog demo and much more.
