A&FRC job fair is Sept 16 at Scott club Published Sept. 8, 2010 By Airman and Family Readiness Center 375th Air Mobility Wing SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- The Airman and Family Readiness Center will host its 5th Annual Job Fair Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Scott Club. Team Scott members looking for work or interested in changing careers can take advantage of this networking opportunity. This year the A&FRC has been working hard to recruit companies with ready to fill positions, especially those within Illinois and Missouri. The Job Fair will include recruiters from industries such as hospitality, IT, medical, security, and sales. "This year's job fair is especially important for those who are affected by the recent Force Management Initiative. We have been extremely busy preparing transitioning military members and their families for new career paths," said Betty Hart, A&FRC. The A&FRC job fair will provide opportunities for prospective employees to have face-to-face contact with local and national companies. Attendees will also have the opportunity to receive on-the-spot employment related assistance from A&FRC, Illinois Department of Employment Security, St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment, NAF and Civilian Personnel.
