DBIDS "soft" implementation begins Nov. 1 Published Oct. 28, 2010 By 375th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE -- In an effort to meet the demands for DBIDS registration - required for access to the base - the 375th Security Forces Squadron has expanded their hours. When: Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the BDOC (Bldg. 755) Rm. 135; Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Visitor Control Center. Who: All DoD ID card holders, contractors, retirees, family members over age 16. What: Bring all of your driver's license and all DoD ID cards belonging to each person (i.e. a retiree ID and a CAC). Family members must be present to register, but the sponsor does not need to be present with the dependent. Deadline: "Soft" implementation begins Nov. 1, in which unregistered personnel will continue to be granted access to the base for a limited number of entries. "Hard" enforcement will begin on a to-be-determined date in which anyone seeking base access will be required to either obtain a temporary visitor's pass or be registered in DBIDS.
