Each unit may enter a single team of 10 personnel to compete in 10K and 5K runs, push-up, sit-up and pull up challenges. This fitness challenge incorporates all four pillars of Comprehensive Airman Fitness: mental, spiritual, social, and physical. Cash awards will be given to the top four teams with attendance drawings throughout the event, and each team will receive a colored shirt for the competition. The money can be put towards unit functions at the discretion of the unit commander. This event will be based on a point scale. Points will be dispensed based on the standings per event and number of participating teams. Points will accumulate throughout each event and will determine the final standings. Reverse order scoring system: 30 teams equals first place earns 30 points and 30th place earns one point. Points from each event will carry over leading to an ultimate winner at the end. Attendance drawings will be drawn throughout the event. Tickets will be issued and you must be present to win. Each unit must provide two volunteers to help count repetitions and monitor time during events. Times are subject to change; flexibility is the key to this event. There must be a designated team captain to represent each unit. For more information contact Glendora Brock at 256-1218, or Staff Sgt. Tu Nguyen at 256-4524.
